Stamped Geometric Print Over Gradient Nails

I love this nail art! My stamping has improved a lot over the last few months as I’ve been doing more of it. I’m really liking this type of gradient lately which features a greater contrast between the darkest and lighter colors. My inspiration for the color scheme actually came from the packaging of Ciaté’s Mini Mani Month, which I bought recently. I used only colors from the kit since  I was really excited to try out the shades. I’ll be posting a review of it in the next few days with swatches.

The gradient consists of Ciaté Pool Party, a deep blue; Ibiza Blues, a light lavender-gray; and Pretty In Putty, a nude. For the stamp, I used Goal Digger, a metallic rose gold. The geometric print is from the stamping plate: Celebration BPX-L008 from Born Pretty. I didn’t have any trouble transferring the image from the stamp, aside from the usual issue of having to fix the free-edge of the nail due to the curvature of my nails.

To top coat, I applied the Gelology Top Coat that comes with the advent calendar. I hadn’t tried it before and I think it’s pretty good. It’s fast drying and didn’t smudge. It’s not the shiniest top coat I’ve used, but it gets the job done.
