31DC2016 Water Marble – Rhinestones on Sand

Water marbling tends to be a challenge for me, but this year I had it pretty easy. I knew I wanted a nude color scheme and luckily the polishes I had in mind worked well in the water. Instead of using a regular sized plastic cup like I usually do, I used a shot-sized one. Because of its smaller diameter, the polish easily spread and took longer to dry, allowing me more time to draw the designs. That’s where I had the most trouble. I couldn’t figure out what designs I wanted and kept ruining them by overdoing it. Eventually I got it though, and after applying some glitter and the rhinestones, I love how it looks.
